Digital File Submission Requirements |
Our Requirements:
One Color --- A laser printout showing position.
Two or more colors:
A composite laser printout showing position
Laser printouts of each separation
Laser separations allow us and you to catch color and font problems
Software:
Personal Printing uses the Windows XP operating system.
Acceptable Programs:
InDesign, PageMaker, Photoshop
Acceptable file types:
.p7m, p65, .psd, .tif, .jpg, .pdf, .eps, .ai, .indd (InDesign no layers - CMYK build only)
Unacceptable Programs:
Any Microsoft program
Any Corel program
Any of the card creators, or Broderbund programs
RGB images are not acceptable
Image resolution must be 300 dpi
We cannot guarantee color matching to customer supplied proofs.
Send ALL font files used in the publication.
Set up all artwork in PageMaker or InDesign TO SIZE.
Include 1/8" bleeds, where necessary.
PDFs:
Make them the correct size (i.e. NOT 8 1/2 x 11")
Embed all fonts
Use correct colors
WE CANNOT MAKE ALTERATIONS TO PDF FILES!
Be sure to have 1/8" bleed in the artwork on all sides which copy is to bleed
